PRESS RELEASE

FriGol Signs Contract with RioBeef for Beef Production in Rondônia

  • Date January 28, 2026

FriGol, one of Brazil’s leading and most traditional beef processors, announces that on January 23 it entered into an industrial processing services agreement with RioBeef, a meatpacking plant located in the city of Ji-Paraná, in the state of Rondônia.

The partnership, which provides for the slaughtering and deboning of cattle acquired by FriGol, is relevant to the company as it represents a strategic opportunity to diversify its cattle procurement, expanding access to a region with a strong livestock sector and a consistent supply of cattle that meet the quality standards required for the company’s premium product lines sold in the domestic market.

In addition, the RioBeef facility is licensed to export to China and other major international markets, which is fully aligned with FriGol’s international expansion agenda and the strengthening of its presence in strategic markets.

This initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and financial discipline, ensuring responsible capital allocation and the maintenance of high standards of quality, governance, and regulatory compliance.
